  • 1:50 How the hell is e5 pawn going to d6 anyhow without a black piece there? He would be going diagonal with nothing to capture, so he couldn’t even if he wanted to. So its not whites decision anyhow to make such a stupid move because black didn’t move his pawn to d6 to be taken anyhow. I’m a little confused about your explanation. I believe you are talking about a theoretical circumstance but just the way you made it sound at about 1:50 mark threw me off.

  • what was the point of the second knight's sacrifice at 4:48? (because i think i get it that the first knight's sacrifice was done to gain a tempo needed for the attack and to deviate black's queen from the crucial f6 pawn). why not just leave it where it was and instead move the e3 rook to h3?
